Exploring Presence, Awareness and What It Means to Be Fully Alive.
What does it mean to be conscious?
We use the word every day, yet consciousness remains one of the great mysteries of being human. At Presence Space, consciousness is not something I see simply as something to study or understand intellectually. It is something we can experience and explore. Much of life is lived automatically — shaped by our thoughts, habits, beliefs and past experiences. Becoming more aware allows us to pause, notice what is happening within us, and perhaps discover new possibilities. Becoming more aware.
You might begin by asking:
What am I experiencing right now? What thoughts and patterns are influencing me? Can I
observe my thoughts without automatically believing them? Who am I beneath the roles and identities I have developed? What happens when I become more fully present? There are no
predetermined answers.
Sometimes awareness comes through conversation. Sometimes through silence. Sometimes simply through being heard without judgement or an agenda. My own understanding has been
influenced by Psychology, Jungian thought, Spirituality, and Metaphysical approaches. I don't believe consciousness belongs to any one tradition, and you don't need to hold any particular beliefs to explore it.
Presence Space offers an opportunity to slow down, become curious and explore your experience of being human. You can talk, remain silent, ask questions or simply see what emerges.
You don't have to become somebody different. Perhaps the invitation is simply to become more aware of who you already are - Presence. Awareness. Consciousness. Human Connection.
