
What Is Presence?
Presence is the simple awareness of what is happening right now. It is the sense of being here — aware of thoughts, feelings, and experience without getting lost in them.
Most of the time, attention is pulled into thinking about the past or future. Presence is what is here when we gently come back to the present moment.
In sessions, we do not try to create presence or achieve a special state. Instead, we simply notice what is already here. Many people find that this brings a sense of space, clarity, or grounding.
